this is realy helpful, thank you! i have two questions though, 1.did you use a technique or something to make skaia chekered or did you just make random patterns? 2. how sturdy are they?

For skaia I just hand painted all the checks individually and hoped it would all work out :D
Theyre pretty sturdy, I've had some of mine fall off my bookshelves and stay in one piece, the floating clouds on mine have come off before but that was an issue with the sort of glue I was using and I've since super glued them and they stay on much better

Hope that helped answer your questions !

Thank you for making this!! :3
i can't make the planets until I can afford the crafting materials, but while I save I wanted to ask how many colors did you have to use/buy??

No problem I am glad people are finding it useful!
umm I mixed paints a lot to create a heap of the colours to save money, the main ones I used were black, white, red, blue, yellow and green, any others that I needed such as the pink and greys and the different shades of all the others I mixed out of those main ones
I hope that helps and good luck making your own!
This is fantastic! How did you hold them while the paint was wet?

Thank you~

Luckily enough the paint I had dried really quickly so i just held onto the planet with my fingertips as the part I had just painted dried and then painted the parts where my fingers were after the rest was dry. There were also many different layers of paint I did in different sections so most of the time there was a part i could safely hold onto.
